Their existing cable management system was outdated and could no longer meet the strict safety and performance requirements of the automotive industry. The cables were frequently exposed to harsh conditions, including high temperatures, oil, and vibrations, leading to frequent damage and failures. Moreover, they needed to ensure compliance with specific industry standards such as IATF16949 and EN45545 (since their products are also used in railway-related automotive parts), adding another layer of complexity to their cable management issue.

Fire-Resistance and Harsh Environment Protection: The Solution
To address the harsh environment and fire resistance requirements, we suggested using their high fire-retardant PET braided sleeving. This product offers excellent protection against potential fire hazards in automotive production environments, thanks to its fire-resistant rating. Made of PET monofilament, it can also withstand common substances found in automotive workshops, including gasoline, chemicals, and cleaning solvents. It remains flexible across a wide temperature range (-50°C to +150°C), ensuring it can endure extreme temperature changes in both automotive and railway-related applications.
Protection Against Vibration and Wear: The Nylon Soft Hose
To address the issue of cable abrasion and vibration protection, we recommended using nylon soft hose protective sleeving. Made from tightly woven nylon fibers, it provides explosion resistance, corrosion resistance, and outstanding wear resistance. It also offers high flexibility and durability, making it the ideal choice for protecting cables in vibration-prone environments.
Tailored Solutions: Customized Products and Testing
We also offered customized products to fit specific cable sizes and provided samples of the recommended products for the client to test in their own facilities. This hands-on approach allowed the client to see firsthand the quality and performance of the products.
