How to cut expandable braided sleeving?
1. Measuring length
Don’t pull too tightly, and keep the expandable braided sleeving as relaxed as possible.
2. Heating the knife
Please cut in a well-ventilated area after you heat the knife. Be careful, Both the cut ends and the knife will be hot.
3. Flaring the ends
When the cut ends of expandable braided sleeving are hot, you can use some tools(such as an inverted funnel, needle nose pliers, or scissors) to form the end into a soft flare.
4. Installing the expandable braided sleeving
Push the flared end over the ends of the wires and walk the expandable braided sleeve from behind down to the length of the bundle. Then smooth it out by simply running your hand over it.
