• Reduce loose cut-end filaments
The fray-resistant construction supports cleaner ends during production and installation.
• Improve assembly efficiency
Less trimming and end preparation can shorten repetitive harness operations.
• Create neater finished harnesses
Controlled ends improve appearance around connectors and termination points.
• Retain expandable protection
The sleeve still provides connector pass-through, flexibility and abrasion protection.

● Note: Expanded range describes geometric capability, not the preferred continuous operating point. Selecting near maximum expansion increases braid openings, reduces surface coverage and shortens installed length.
Typical Applications
High-volume wire-harness assembly
Reduces end-finishing work on repetitive cut lengths.
Electrical equipment manufacturing
Improves the appearance and handling of internal cable bundles.
Automotive interior harnesses
Provides neat flexible protection around modules and connectors.
Appliances and electronics
Organizes wiring where clean cut ends improve assembly quality.
Retail cable-management kits
Supports pre-cut pieces with more consistent presentation.
Specify whether the sleeve will be cut by scissors, blade, automated cutter or hot knife, and define the acceptable end appearance. Provide bundle size, connector size, cut length, tolerance and annual quantity. A sample cutting trial is recommended before approving a high-volume process.
Customization Available
Cut-length service - Pieces supplied to agreed length and tolerance.
End-finish trial - Cutting process reviewed against the desired appearance.
Diameter and braid density - Matched to coverage and expansion needs.
Kitting and packaging - Counted bags, labels, barcodes and line-side kits.
Fray resistance is a processing and construction benefit, not a flame, UV or industry certification. Applicable RoHS, REACH and halogen-free documents may be supplied for the selected material. Functional claims should be confirmed using the customer cutting process.
Cut-end evaluation - Samples are cut using the agreed method and reviewed for loose filaments.
Dimensional control - Diameter, expansion and cut length are checked.
Braid appearance inspection - Coverage, surface defects and contamination are monitored.
Count and packaging check - Pre-cut quantity, labels and bag configuration are verified.
Frequently Asked Questions
01. Can BRS-PET-CC be cut with ordinary scissors?
Yes. It is designed for clean cutting with approved ordinary scissors. The production tool and method should still be qualified because blade condition and cutting technique affect the result.
02. Is it completely non-fraying?
It is designed to reduce fraying, but results depend on the cutter and handling.
03.Can you supply pre-cut pieces?
Yes, with agreed length tolerance, end finish and packaging.
04. WHow should we approve it?
Test a sample using the same cutting equipment planned for production.
