Why Choose ZBW-PZP Zipper Cable Sleeving?
1. Secure long cable runs
The zipper provides a continuous mechanical closure that resists accidental opening during handling.
2. Retrofit terminated harnesses
Side-entry installation avoids removing plugs, terminals or branch connectors.
3. Follow complex routing
Expandable braid flexes around bends and accommodates a controlled range of bundle sizes.
4. Speed planned maintenance
The sleeve can be unzipped along the route and closed again after inspection or cable changes.
1. Full-length zipper closure
Provides positive, repeatable opening and closing along the cable run.
2. Expandable braided body
Adapts to moderate bundle-diameter changes and irregular profiles.
3. Side-entry installation
Wraps existing cable assemblies without connector removal.
4. Flexible bend performance
Follows curved paths inside equipment, vehicles and work areas.
5. Abrasion protection
Helps reduce wear from contact with structures and adjacent components.
6. Controlled cable retention
Keeps loose wires contained during handling and equipment operation.
7. Custom zipper assemblies
Lengths, diameters, zipper type, color and packaging can be reviewed.

Typical Applications
Industrial machine harnesses
Secures routed wiring while allowing scheduled access for diagnostics and replacement.
Data centers and technical rooms
Contains dense cable groups where a neat closure and future changes are required.
Robotics and automated equipment
Protects flexible cable runs and supports planned maintenance along the route.
Broadcast and stage systems
Builds transportable cable looms that open for setup changes and inspection.
Vehicle auxiliary wiring
Retrofits around completed low-voltage harnesses where positive closure is desired.
Measure minimum and maximum bundle diameters and identify connectors, branches and bend radii. Choose a braid size that expands without excessive opening and a finished width that allows the zipper to close without cable compression. Specify zipper orientation, slider direction, end stops, opening frequency, abrasion and operating temperature.
Customization Available
• Braid size and density — Matched to cable range, coverage and flexibility targets.
• Zipper system — Slider, tooth or coil style, orientation and color subject to review.
• Finished length — Cut assemblies with defined zipper stops and dimensional tolerance.
• OEM presentation — Project labels, bagged kits, barcodes and private cartons available.
Standard ZBW-PZP is a mechanical cable-protection product. RoHS, REACH and halogen-free documentation may be available for confirmed materials. The zipper, braid and sewing thread must all be included when evaluating flame, temperature or chemical requirements. Do not claim waterproofing or electrical insulation.
• Braid consistency check — Coverage, expansion and surface defects are inspected.
• Zipper operation test — Slider travel, alignment and end stops are checked on finished pieces.
• Dimensional verification — Finished length and intended bundle fit are confirmed.
• Packing release — Quantity, labels, direction and custom requirements are verified.
Frequently Asked Questions
01. Can it be fitted after the connectors are installed?
Yes. The zipper allows side-entry installation around a completed harness.
02.How is it different from hook-and-loop wrap?
The zipper provides a more defined mechanical closure; hook-and-loop is usually faster for very frequent access.
03. Can the braid expand after the zipper is closed?
It can accommodate the specified bundle range, but sizing must leave the zipper free from excessive side load.
