Measure the finished bundle and largest connector, then choose a size that provides adequate expansion without excessive loss of coverage. State the working temperature, abrasion level, color, cut length and any flame, UV or industry standard. If a defined requirement applies, select the corresponding functional PET grade instead of the general version.

• Size range - Multiple nominal diameters can be supplied for small wires through larger cable bundles.
• Color matching - Black is standard; additional colors can be produced for identification or brand requirements.
• Braid density and expansion - Construction can be reviewed to balance coverage, flexibility and connector pass-through.
• Cut lengths - Pre-cut pieces with hot-knife sealed ends can support line-side harness assembly.
• Private packaging - Roll length, retail box, barcode, customer label and carton quantity can be customized.
General BRS-PET is intended for standard cable organization and abrasion protection. Applicable RoHS, REACH and halogen-free documentation can be supplied for approved materials. Where UL 94 V-0, VW-1, FMVSS 302, UV or EN 45545 performance is specified, use the corresponding tested MJ FLEX variant rather than applying those claims to the general product.
• PET yarn inspection - Material, filament diameter, color and surface condition are checked before braiding.
• In-process braid control - Coverage, braid pattern, tension and diameter are monitored during production.
• Expansion verification - Samples are fitted over controlled mandrels to check expansion and recovery.
• Length control - Roll length or pre-cut length is checked against the order and agreed tolerance.
• Final appearance and packing - Ends, surface cleanliness, labels and packaging are inspected before shipment.
Frequently Asked Questions
01. How much can the sleeve expand?
Expansion depends on nominal size and braid construction. Provide the bundle and connector dimensions for a suitable recommendation.
02. Can it be cut with scissors?
It can, but a hot knife is recommended because it seals the PET filaments and helps reduce fraying.
03. Is standard PET suitable outdoors?
For prolonged sunlight exposure, use the UV-resistant version and review the actual environmental requirements.
04. Is it flame retardant?
Do not assume a defined flame rating for the general version. Select the VW-1, UL 94 V-0 or EN 45545 variant when the specification requires it.
05. Are custom colors available?
Color development may be reviewed against volume and performance requirements. Color changes can affect UV or flammability evidence and should be approved before production.
