Why Choose STW-PET Wrap Around Sleeving?
1. Install without disconnecting cables
The side-entry construction wraps around assembled harnesses, connectors and branch points.
2. Simplify inspection and maintenance
Cables remain accessible by reopening the sleeve instead of removing a closed tube.
3. Control irregular cable bundles
Self-closing overlap follows changes in bundle diameter and helps retain loose wires.
4. Protect nearby finished surfaces
The woven textile exterior provides a softer contact surface than many rigid protective conduits.
1. Self-closing wrap-around design
Opens for side entry and returns around the installed bundle.
2. Woven polyester construction
Provides flexible textile protection for daily cable routing.
3. Retrofit-friendly installation
Fits terminated harnesses without connector removal.
4. Abrasion-resistant surface
Helps reduce jacket wear caused by contact with panels and equipment.
5. Flexible bend performance
Follows curved routes and irregular bundle profiles.
6. Easy cable access
Supports servicing, branch-outs and cable additions.
7. Custom supply options
Available in project-specific sizes, cut lengths and packaging.

● Note: Select the size according to the actual bundle diameter and ensure at least 35% overlap after installation.
Typical Applications
Automotive interior harnesses
Protects wiring behind dashboards, doors and seats while allowing fast assembly and later service.
Industrial machinery
Organizes sensor and control cables where connectors are already installed.
Robotics and automation
Contains flexible cable groups along moving or frequently maintained equipment routes.
Electrical cabinets
Combines multiple wires and keeps branch points accessible during troubleshooting.
Appliances and electronic equipment
Protects internal leads from rubbing against housings and sheet-metal edges.
Measure the bundle at its smallest and largest points, including branches and connectors. Choose a nominal size that closes with adequate overlap throughout the route. State the abrasion source, bend frequency, temperature, fluids and installation method so the sleeve construction can be checked.
Customization Available
• Diameter and overlap - Matched to the installed bundle and expected diameter variation.
• Cut lengths - Prepared pieces for line-side harness assembly.
• Color and identification - Special colors or project labels subject to material and MOQ review.
• Packaging - Custom rolls, bags, kits, barcodes and private labels.
Standard STW-PET is intended for general cable organization and abrasion protection. RoHS, REACH and halogen-free documents may be available for confirmed materials. Do not apply UL 94 V-0, VW-1, EN 45545 or UV claims to this version; select the corresponding tested grade when required.
• Incoming material check - Yarn identity, color and surface condition are verified.
• Closure and overlap inspection - The wrap is checked on representative bundle diameters.
• Woven-surface control - Gaps, broken yarns, contamination and edge defects are monitored.
• Length and packing verification - Roll or cut length, labels and quantity are checked before release.
Frequently Asked Questions
01. Can it be installed over an assembled harness?
Yes. The split construction opens from the side and does not require connector removal.
02. Will the sleeve stay closed?
It is designed to self-close when correctly sized with sufficient overlap.
03. Can cables branch out through the sleeve?
Yes. The wrap can be opened locally for branch-outs and service access.
